In the Colorado race for U.S. Senate, Republicans Ken Buck and Jane Norton hold narrow leads over Democrats Michael Bennet and Andrew Romanoff, according to a poll released Tuesday by Rasmussen Reports.

Buck leads both Romanoff and Bennet by margins of 47-42 percent and 48-39 percent, respectively. Former Lieutenant Governor Jane Norton holds a 47-40 percent lead over Sen. Bennet, but is in a virtual tie with former Colorado House Speaker Andrew Romanoff, leading by a margin of 44-42 percent. (The margin of error in the poll was +/- 4.5 percent.)

The poll is essentially consistent with a Rasmussen poll conducted last month.

The Colorado primary is on August 10.
