Iran: Trump breaking deal allowed us to increase production of nuclear material

The world is more dangerous, thanks to Trump’s petulant actions.

Iran admitted on Monday that its stockpiles of enriched uranium have exceeded the limits previously in place before Trump scrapped the Iran nuclear deal.

Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif revealed the move to IRNA, Iran’s state-run news outlet.

“The move is thought to be Tehran’s first major breach of the accord since US President Donald Trump withdrew from the agreement last year,” CNN reported.

Under the deal, Iran had been limited in how much uranium it could enrich, and in exchange international sanctions were eased.

Trump pulled out of the agreement in May of last year in an attempt to undo one of President Barack Obama’s foreign policy achievements. At the time, experts warned that Trump’s actions would put Iran back on the path of developing nuclear weapons, endangering the region and the world.

Trump’s jealousy toward Obama has been a constant throughout his presidency, motivating several of his executive decisions.

After pulling out of the deal, Trump announced sanctions against Iran last week. The Iranian government cited the sanctions as one factor in their increased production.

As recently as February, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) verified that Iran had kept up its end of the deal, keeping limits in place on enrichment.

The announcement today shows how dramatically the situation has changed.

In the meantime, Trump has been threatening Iran, discussing the possibility of the nation’s “obliteration.”

Trump is all over the map on Iran, pulling back at the last minute on a retaliatory strike against the nation for shooting down a U.S. drone.

After years of careful diplomacy between Iran and the western world led by President Obama, Iran is now in the position to threaten more lives and global stability.

Trump lit the spark.
