Trump disgustingly uses slain teens to avoid blame in Russia scandal

Trump launched 10 hours of unhinged attacks on the FBI to shield himself.

Trump's response to last week's mass shooting in Parkland, Florida somehow managed to sink even lower, as he used the tragedy to criticize Robert Mueller's Russia investigation.

The supreme sacrifice of not golfing the weekend that victims of the shooting are being laid to rest has left Trump with a lot of time on his hands, which he used to vent at length about the ever-exploding Russia investigation. Late Saturday night, though, Trump even went so far as to blame the Russia investigation for the shooting.

"Very sad that the FBI missed all of the many signals sent out by the Florida school shooter," Trump wrote. "This is not acceptable. They are spending too much time trying to prove Russian collusion with the Trump campaign - there is no collusion. Get back to the basics and make us all proud!"

Trump then lashed out at his own national security advisor, H.R. McMaster, who called the recent Mueller indictments "incontrovertible" evidence of Russian interference.

"General McMaster forgot to say that the results of the 2016 election were not impacted or changed by the Russians," Trump tweeted, then referenced several debunked conspiracy theories.

Trump continued to rant about the Russia investigation, as well as favorite targets like Hillary Clinton and President Obama.

Unfortunately for Trump, his continued insistence that there's no evidence of collusion is a self-evident lie, which means his rant serves only to reveal the panic Trump feels over the ever-tightening noose of the Mueller probe, and the utter moral cowardice that would lead someone to exploit a tragedy like the Parkland shooting just to protect his own skin.
